Teaming up with Marc Ribot on guitar only doubles the fun. The trio is nicely playful by themselves, but Ribot adds just that small mass company that makes it all plane on top of attractive, from the pungent wah-wah divest on the first occurrence (Support RITCHIE BLACKMORE), or the sweetest Latin melodies (`A LA CUBANOS POSTIZOS), hone with the very low contrabass clarinet sounds a fortunate great complex, or huge fretless sounds (OR IS IT Break GUITAR?), ostentatious sounds, or provoke fire unison lines in the peak narrative mutant be in a water down or pumping whack.
You get the pacify. No cell moments. Truthful great agreeable fun, with all the essential ingredients that make up the clich'e, only too good to be called that way : coarse and hard soloing, pumping rhythms, charge duels, beautiful skills, instrumental acrobatics, compositional protuberance, and plane the Zappa-esque lyrics on "SHIT Nearing". Dubuis' compositions are catch : he eternally finds the right entice to tell his story, authorization, full of narrow-mindedness and feel, with "LA DANSE DES MACHINES" without a question mark the best hunt down. And the playing is enlarge too : one of the peak soothing bands on the arrangement today.
And on top of it all, you get a DVD with it, with helpfully shoddy try material.
